Goenkas & Birlas: Love and Power

Setting the Stage: The Goenkas & Birlas

The Goenka and Birla families are two of the most influential families in Udaipur. While the Goenkas are powerful business tycoons, the Birlas dominate the medical world with their renowned hospital.

At the heart of this story are three key characters:

Aarohi Goenka – A brilliant, ambitious doctor who has spent her whole life feeling overshadowed by her elder half-sister, Akshara. Aarohi craves recognition and love but has always struggled with insecurities.

Akshara Goenka is a kind-hearted and selfless woman whose passion lies in music therapy. She is deeply loved by her family, which fuels Aarohi's resentment toward her.

Abhimanyu Birla – A passionate and skilled surgeon, Abhimanyu is intense, righteous, and fiercely protective of those he loves. Despite his arrogance, he carries a deep emotional vulnerability.

Other Characters:
Goenka Family – (Loving, Emotional, and Protective, but Biased)

The Goenka family is led by Manish Goenka and his wife, Swarna Goenka. Manish had a son, Kartik Goenka, who married Naira Singhania and had two children, Kairav Goenka and Akshara Goenka. After Naira's tragic death, Kartik later married Sirat Shekhawat, and they had a daughter, Aarohi Goenka. This made Kairav and Akshara full siblings, while Aarohi was their half-sister. Akhilesh Goenka, Manish's younger brother, is married to Surekha Goenka, and they have a son, Vansh Goenka, who is Kairav, Akshara, and Aarohi's cousin. The Goenka family is known for its love and warmth but unknowingly gives Akshara more importance, making Aarohi feel overshadowed and crave validation.

Birla Family - (Career-Oriented, Strict, and Status-Driven)

The Birla family is dominated by the strict and career-focused Harshvardhan Birla, who is married to the kind yet submissive Manjari Birla. They have a son, Abhimanyu Birla, a highly skilled doctor who seeks love and emotional connection, which he finds in Akshara. Neil Birla, Manjari's adoptive son, is Abhimanyu's younger brother and is deeply loyal to him. Harshvardhan's elder brother, Anand Birla, is a senior doctor and is married to the ambitious and controlling Mahima Birla. They have a son, Parth Birla, who struggles between his passion for music and family expectations, and a daughter, Nishta Birla, who looks up to her elder brothers. Parth is married to Shefali Birla, an independent journalist who does not conform to the Birla family's rigid traditions. Mahima always wanted Akshara as Abhimanyu's wife, believing that she could easily control Akshara and maintain her authority over the Birla empire.

The Conflict That Changes Everything

Aarohi and Akshara, raised as sisters, have never truly been equals in the eyes of their family. Aarohi has always been compared to Akshara, believing that her sister receives all the love and opportunities she was denied. When both sisters cross paths with Abhimanyu, a love triangle begins—one that will change all their lives forever.

Abhimanyu falls in love with Akshara – captivated by her voice and compassionate nature. However, a misunderstanding leads both families to believe he loves Aarohi instead.

On their(abhimanyu and aarohi's) engagement day, Abhimanyu refuses to marry Aarohi – shocking everyone by declaring his love for Akshara. This humiliates Aarohi, deepening her hatred for Akshara.

Akshara sacrifices her love – She steps back for Aarohi's happiness, rejecting Abhimanyu despite loving him.

Will Akshara's sacrifice bring peace, or only deepen the wounds between the sisters?

Can Abhimanyu fight for his love while protecting his family's honor?

Will Aarohi's desire for recognition drive her to fight for Abhimanyu's love — or push her further into darkness?

As their hatred transforms into passion and competition turns into admiration, Aarohi and Abhimanyu must decide: Are they bound by duty, or will they choose love?

As secrets unravel and hearts break, who will choose love, and who will surrender to duty?
